A lone male Wilson's Warbler briefly visited our
backyard this evening during early dusk.(Sunday
9/16).I looked out the window just in time to see him
flit into the yard and position himself on a tree twig
near the suet basket. The berry/nut suet was being
monopolized by our local gang of Black-capped
Chickadees. He twitched about on the twig for almost a
full minute-while keeping an eye on the Chickadees.
Then --apparently losing interest-- he flew away as
quickly as he arrived. Sigh--a too brief visit--but
still a treat to catch a glimpse of(what is for our
    yard)an uncommon visitor.
