This morning while performing my final 2007 SFBBO Gull & Tern survey I found
a Golden Plover in a large mixed flock of shorebirds. I'm leaning towards
American Golden Plover but I cannot be certain. I did get a decent
digi-scope but the bird didn't move around so the photos are all of the same
angle and posture.

Also found a juv. Western Sandpiper with colored leg bands. The right leg
showed a green band near the foot then white and green on top. The left leg
showed blue near the foot then orange then gold. 

Eden Landing is not open to the public at this time.
