    Birders:

At 8:55 am two adult Black Skimmers skimmed their way across the small
bay at the mouth of Meeker Slough and joined their Forster's and
Caspian cousins that were loafing on the usual mudflat. That mudflat
is just offshore of the dilapidated pier along the bay trail through
Eastshore State Park. Closest access is at the west end of South 51st
    Street in Richmond.
