Today at high tide at Frank's Dump West, the tide was not high enough to force many shorebirds out of Ora Loma Marsh. Mostly only small shorebirds and plovers were in Frank's Dump West. The height of the tide at Roberts Landing probably has to be 6.1 or 6.2 feet. Today It was only 5.76 feet. Many of the shorebirds in Ora Loma Marsh could be seen from the trail. Ora Loma Marsh is just north of Frank's Dump West. The only thing between them is Sulfur Creek. The trail from Sulfur Creek north to Bockman Channel will be closed on 7-17 and 7-18.

Snowy Plover - at least 18 in Frank's Dump West.
Red Knot - 24 in Ora Loma Marsh.
    Sanderling - 1 in Frank's Dump West.
Dunlin - 1 in Ora Loma Marsh.
