[EBB Sightings] MLK Shoreline Science Camp for Girls

Hello,

I am a beginning birder and I work in a program through Chabot Space and
Science Center to interest girls in science.  We are organizing a summer
science camp for girls and would like to introduce the girls into shore bird
identification.  I was wondering if there would be anyone who knows of a
good way to get kids started on the basics of birding.

We are also looking to buy binoculars for the kids and were looking for
relatively inexpensive but passable binoculars.  Does anyone have
suggestions?
