A couple hours of birding in the Berkeley Marina today around noon with my
one year old brought the following highlights:

15+ Least Terns were feeding in the inlet south of the entrance road and
several were in the north inlet; a couple Pelagic Cormorants were about; a
leucistic American Goldfinch was seen in the northeast section of the chavez
park - the bird had a pale yellow head, chest and back with the rest of the
body and wings whitish - no black; a Eurasian Collared-Dove was ambling
around the Chavez parking lot turn around area and was last seen flying to
the nearby pines; a Wilson's Warbler was in the shrubby area at the south
end of the wooded area of Chavez park; a single Caspian Tern north out of
the marina area; several Semipalmated Plover were in the south inlet
    mudflats.

    Happy birding, Jack
