    This morning (Wed, 5/2), a 1st-winter-plumage Bonaparte's Gull flew 
    past the creek at Pinole Bayfront Park (at the end of Tennent Ave) 
    about 10:30 am.
    
    Other highlights were 4 Caspian terns on the beach and a singing 
    Common Yellowthroat who showed himself briefly.  There were still a 
    good number of shorebirds (mostly Willets and Dunlins) out on the mudflats.
