[EBB Sightings] Hayward Shoreline

Today at the Hayward Shoreline -


Cackling Goose - 2 on the Radio Tower Hills.
Greater White-fronted Goose - 1 at San Lorenzo Community Park.
Eurasian Wigeon - 1 male at Frank's Dump East. This is the latest record that I have for 
   the shoreline.
Merlin - 1 over the east side of Ora Loma Marsh. This is the second latest spring record 
   I have for the shoreline. The latest spring record is 4/24/99.
Lesser Yellowlegs - 1 seen at Frank's Dump East.
White-throated Swift - 2 over Winton Ave. parking area.
Rufous Hummingbird - 1 male at Winton Ave. parking area.
Ash-throated Flycatcher - 1 seen on the east side of Ora Loma Marsh.
Western Kingbird - 1 near Frank's Dump East.
Winter Wren - 1 at Winton Ave. is the first record I have for spring.
Mountain White-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys oriantha) - 1 in the row of trees
   and shrubs along Winton Ave. opposite the park headquarters. It was seen in the area
   closest to Frank's Dump East. This is the first record I have for this sub-species at 
   the shoreline.

   Ruby-crowned Kinglet
   Hermit Thrush
   Fox Sparrow
   White-crowned Sparrow
   Golden-crowned Sparrow
