[EBB Sightings] parrot sighting

I have seen a large white parrot 4 times in the last 2 weeks perched at 
the top of a redwood tree near my home in the Richmond hills. On 
several other occasions I have heard its loud and unmistakable 
vocalizations as it flew over my neighborhood. Is anyone missing a 
parrot? How well can a tropical bird like this make it on its own in 
our climate? I'm wondering if I should try putting out food for it.
