    Don't know if the Lake Merritt egrets came over the hill, but there are  many 
    nests in the Eucalyptus trees in the EBMUD corp yard off Camino Pablo on  the 
    San Pablo Reservoir. Herons are also sharing the trees and the chick-chatter  
    is amazing. When you enter the parking lot, the trees are on the far left of 
    the  corp yard area to the left of the main building. This is where you get 
    hiking  permits for EBMUD land too, another good reason to go.
