    All;

Was at Crockett Hills Regonal Park again today doing a raptor census(See
    3/27 post for directions).

Total count: 415. Number of hours: 4. Raptors per hour 103.7.

Was accompanied by Bob Battagin. The weather was good and we had a great
time. Having a second pair of very able eyes was a big help.

A dark-morph adult Red Tail has been hanging around for the last two days in
the canyon adjacent to the site. A lot of Red Tails pass over this area, and
    he courts the females vigorously.

    Here's the count:

    Turkey Vulture 33
    Red Tailed Hawk 304
    Sharp Shinned Hawk 1
    Cooper's Hawk 6
    Northern Harrier 17
    American Kestrel 1
    Peregrine Falcon 1
    White Tailed Kite 13
    Golden Eagle 1
    Red Shouldered Hawk 1
    Unidentified Raptor 37

Will be out there tomorrow and Friday from 10:30 to 2:30. The
soaring-weather is forecast to be good tomorrow but average to poor on
    Friday.

Here is a URL to the soaring-weather site. It's a good tool for predicting
    soaring conditions.
