Today, my friend Carol and I went up to Mt. Wanda. We saw some behavior that we had never seen before. A white tail Kite was being very aggressive to a redtail hawk, dive bombing and then pulling up. The redtail responded sometimes but kept on flying.

We also saw: red-breasted sapsucker, blue birds, junco, white-breasted nut hatch, brown creeper, yellow rump warblers, lesser gold finches, vared thrush, red shouldered hawk, nuttall woodpecker. titmouse, scrub jay, stellar's jay, anna's hummingbird and the ever present TV.

At the marina we saw: canvasbacks, scaups, western grebe, great blue heron, song sparrow godwit, avocet, black neck stilt, sandpiper (they looked like sanderling, but I'm not sure) kildeer, snipe.

It was a beautiful day to be out and about.
