A horned grebe has been seen for several days in the pond at the
marina. It hangs out in the southeast portion of the pond. Also the
frost-damaged vegetation off the concrete bridge just past the arch
bridge seems very attractive to snipes. We have seen 5 or 6 there for
several days in a row along with a sora or two and today a Virginia
rail. Around 3 p.m. each day. Several green-winged teal are also
present plus all the usual peeps and one willet.

    Happy birding,
    Kate Taylor
