This weekend, the Cascade Historical Ranch is providing a guard for cars
parked near the brussel sprouts from 8am to 5pm (I forget the exact times.)

Remember to stay on the dirt road and not walk into their fields.

As previously reported, we took the trip to the brussels sprouts dump near
Ano Nuevo.? The hooded warbler and female redstart were quite cooperative,
along with hundreds of townsend warblers.? There were ruby crowned kinglets
perched on people?s tripods and warblers walking up to someone?s hand.?
    Quite an amazing sight.
But BEWARE.? We too had a window broken out of our car as did the car parked
in front of us.? We parked along with 3 other cars on the west side of the
highway and the two cars on the south next to the high weeds were broken
into.? There were also cars on the east side of the highway which weren?t
touched . You should visit this amazing event if you can but leave NOTHING
in your car of value.? The sheriff and state park police will be watching
the area as much as they can now but this occurred within a ? hour period at
midday. Apologies for out of area posting again.
