Has anyone who frequently checks these postings commented on the very large
numbers of Varied Thrush in Tilden Park this winter?

Today, as on many mornings that we walk the Pack Rat and Jewel Lake trails,
we spotted at least a dozen of these handsome critters. In past years
they've been reclusive and hardly so common. Any theories?
