    This afternoon I hiked Briones park to the Sindicich Lagoon from the Briones Rd trailhead. 
      I had a very good raptor day: 2 Golden Eagles soaring then playdiving then perched one distinctly larger than the other (a maited pair likely) 
      a Red-shouldered Hawk, 2 Red-tails. 2 Kestrels, I N. Harrier, a Prairie Falcon flyby, and best of all a single Rough-legged hawk which flew right overhead then briefly hovered before moving north out of sight.
       
      Also saw one Varied Thrush and one Acorn Woodpecker among others. The Lagoon had Gadwall, Bufflehead and Ring-necked Duck.
