    Hi all:

    Bayshore highlights from this morning...
Marina Bay: Common Loon, 25 Sanderlings, 2 Black
    Oystercatchers.
Meeker Slough: Hermit Thrush, Clapper Rail, 11
    Forster's Terns, American Pipit.
Albany Mudflats on Buchanan just north of GGFields.
Male Eurasian Wigeon (1; I think one has been reported
consistently at this location since Kathy Jarrett
first reported one in early October? Anywayz, it's
been hanging around a while if it's the same bird, but
it's still a gorgeous bird, particularly in early
morning light.) Female Eurasian Wigeon, and the
southern end of a north-bound Merlin, w/prey. Very
fast, very cool. All the peeps were in the air at
once. The ducks didn't even flinch.
--No Redheads in the bay opposite Aquatic Park; morale
    dipped at this point.--
Lake Merritt: Barrow's Goldeneye(s); many. Morale
    picked back up. :)
No sign of the Tufted Duck, hybrid duck, or Cackling
Geese, but time was not on my side at this point.

    Good birding,
    Happy Thanksgiving,
Come goof off at hawk hill on Saturday,
