Hi everyone--

Today 11/11, Marcia Marvin and I drove Patterson Pass Road. At the entrance
to the ranch at 15205 Patterson Pass Road (near milepost 5.90), we saw two
male and two female Mountain Bluebirds. Just south of the I-580 interchange
(it's SJ county, but it's on the way), a young Ferruginous Hawk was stuffing
itself with what may have been a jackrabbit. Mmm, tasty!
