[EBB Sightings] Chicken Alert

When we assembled for the Friends of Sausal Creek's fall bird monitoring 
trip Saturday morning, the Sequoia Arena parking area was enlivened by 
an exotic hen: except for the crest and wattles, an even smoke gray all 
over (possibly grungy white, but a little too even for that), and 
feathers right down the legs and out over the feet like snowshoes....

Shoulda remembered to post this earlier - the hen was utterly calm and 
probably easy to catch for anyone interested in funny-looking fowl, or 
for any critter interested in lunch.
