[EBB Sightings] Cooper's Hawk

Today we had a beautiful adult Cooper's Hawk visit our yard twice.  In the
morning, it appeared on our fence with a Mourning Dove and proceeded to
devour it.  Later in the afternoon, our three-year old granddaughter who was
playing in the backyard exclaimed, "What's the big bird on the fence?"  I
quickly brought her inside and we set up the spotting scope, and from our
bedroom she and her two older sisters got great views of this beautiful
bird.  It even came down to the bird bath and drank, probably only about
thirty feet away.  Quite a show!
