    Today at the shoreline -

    Olive-sided Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave.
    Western-wood Pewee - 2 at Winton Ave.
    Pacific-slope Flycatcher - 1 at Winton Ave.
    Say's Phoebe - 2 on Mt. Trashmore.

Sage Thrasher - 1 at Grant Ave.

From north of San Lorenzo, this entrance to the Hayward Shoreline is reached by taking the Lewelling Ave. exit
off I-880 in San Lorenzo. At the bottom of the off-ramp go straight across. This leads to Hesperian Blvd. From
there it is a short block to Grant Ave. Turn right and go almost to the end. The parking area is on the right
where power lines cross the road. A paved trail goes to the north towards San Lorenzo Creek. It was most of
the way towards the creek in what looks like a junk yard to the east.

From south of San Lorenzo, take the Hesperian Blvd. exit from I-880. Turn left and go under the freeway on
Hesperian Blvd. Grant Ave. is only a block away. Turn right and go almost to the end. The parking area is on
the right where power lines cross the road. A paved trail goes to the north towards San Lorenzo Creek. It was
most of the way towards the creek in what looks like a junk yard to the east.

Warblers - only the usual warblers were seen at Winton Ave.
Sparrows - Only the usual sparrows were seen at Winton Ave. (No Clay-colored Sparrow was seen).
