[EBB Sightings] Western Tanager

Friday I saw 1 male western Tanager at Tassajarra Creek Park. 

Saturday with the cooler temperatures I did a 3 hour walk at Del Valle. Of
note was a Sharp-shinned Hawk, 3 green Herons and 8 Wood Ducks on the water
treatment ponds. At the refuse transfer station there where at least 25
Turkey Vultures. 

Saturday I had the chance to drive over Patterson Pass Rd to survey the
damage left by the fire. I was pleased to see that the riparian was spared
but the surrounding hillsides are burned on both sides of the road.
