Today at the shoreline

Cooper's Hawk - 4 at Winton, 3 fledglings and 1 adult male.

Pacific Golden Plover - 1 on the mudflat opposite Frank's Dump West at low tide. The bird could not be relocated at high tide.

Semipalmated Sandpiper - 1 on the east side of Frank's Dump West.

Baird's Sandpiper - 1 on the east side of Frank's Dump West.

Surfbird - 1 seen at Frank's Dump West. This may be the earliest one I have seen at the shoreline during fall shorebird migration.
