[EBB Sightings] Backyard Birding is amazing

I was checking the feeders through the window this hot afternoon and thought I saw two doves, but they were bigger, looked again and saw two quail, a female and male.  I live in a townhome with houses surrounding the area although there is some open space above me near the Martinez, Pleasant Hill border.  This a first backyard sighting of quail for me!
