    They were aileron rolls, not barrel rolls. An aileron roll occurs on only
    the x axis.  A barrel roll is a maneuver that takes place in all three -
    like a cork screw.  The terms are not interchangeable - just as Crow and

    Barrel-rolls like you describe are typical of the Common Raven, but I have
    never heard of it in the American Crow.
