I had my first of the year sighting of a female Hooded Oriole today in my 
flatland yard birdbath.   The usual pattern is for the male to also start 
coming in a week or two. Annually I usually see them  briefly in March  (but 
not this year) and then they reappear in June and take daily baths 
throughout the summer.
