Friends: I went out with Leonard Nathan (author of Diary of a Left-handed
Birdwatcher) to Meeker Slough, north of Pt. Isabel in Richmond on Wednesday.
Ruddy Duck, Green-winged Teal and Dunlin males were in breeding plumage,
White-crowned Sparrow singing near the bench that overlooks the shore, lots
of "peeps", Marbled Godwits, some Willets, Great Egret wading. A nice day
    after so many without sunshine.

    Best of Birding!
