[EBB Sightings] turkey in el sobrante, Coopers' update

Hi Folks--

Just now (1pm) saw a turkey in my yard here in El Sobrante.

I'd suspect one of the Berkeley group has headed north to here.

The pair of Cooper's I'd sighted in the Monterey Pine a while
back don't seem to have been nesting in a place I can see
here on the ridgetop where I live.

The sun has brought them out the last week, though, and I hear their 
calls as they circle in the thermals. They were especially noisy 
when another Cooper's was also soaring here along the Appian
Way valley.
