[EBB Sightings] Hayward region: merganser, oriole, flycatcher, grosbeak

This evening, between rain showers, Debbie and I observed:

   At least four COMMON MERGANSERS in the flood channel along
   Industrial Blvd. in Hayward

   A nesting pair of BULLOCK'S ORIOLES at Jordan Pond in Garin
   Regional Park

   Two PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHERS and a male BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK
   singing above the central picnic area of Garin Park

   Two BAND-TAILED PIGEONS (unusual for the park) near the picnic
   area.

   One WESTERN KINGBIRD sat next to two WESTERN BLUEBIRDS on a
   fence near the lawn area.

   Nothing special in Coyote Hills and the San Francisco
   Wildlife Refuge, except at least two WESTERN KINGBIRDS.
