[EBB Sightings] band-tailed pigeons in Lafayette

I've never seen band-tailed pigeons before this past year, and then only at Shell Ridge, but at 6:20pm today two huge flocks flew in (coincidentally while I was refilling my seed feeders in the rain) from seemingly different directions and blanketed my heritage Valley Oak, my old persimmon tree and a tall pine.
