    This morning we had an orange-crowned warbler gleening insects off of our 
    roses.  It was a new yard bird for us.
    
    In addition, we are pleased to report that a pair of burrowing owls has
    taken occupancy of a California ground squirrel burrow in the Prewett Park
    area of Antioch.  Last year this pair of owls fledged at least one
    offspring.  Due to a variety of activities at the park which included an RV
    show, Christmas tree lot and Christmas tree collection location, we were
    apprehensive about the birds returning.
