    Despite the cold gray weather I was able to see a number of birds today 
    (Mon.) including both  BULLOCKS  (1st year inmature) and a HOODED ORIOLE 
    pair,  bright male WESTERN TANAGERS and 3 BLACK-THROATED THROATED GRAY 
    WARBLERS.  I was also able to view several warblers and a female  
    Black-headed GROSBEAK in one tree and 3 in one bino view- WILSON�S, 
    NASHVILLE,  ORANGE-CROWNED, TOWNSEND�S and HERMIT. There seemed to be 2-3 
    roving flocks of mixed Warblers as well as YELLOW-RUMPED flocks. One place 
    I�ve had good luck with mixed flocks  several times is in the oaks on the  
    first right  road/trail turn off from the main trail  about � mile up.  If 
    you go further up another trail crosses which in other years is good for 
    Hummers. Up there  I also saw HERMIT Thrushes, a tree of 3-4 RUBY-CROWNED 
    KINGLETS and the Tanagers. Back along the main trail were PACIFIC-SLOPED  
    and  HAMMOND�S FLYCATCHERS, HUTTON�S VIREO, CAL. QUAIL and HOUSE WRENS. 
    There were 2 GOLDEN EAGLES soaring all morning over the quarry ridge top
