[EBB Sightings] MLK Jr. Shoreline Burrowing Owl

I took a chilly walk around mitigation marsh this afternoon after the main
rainstorm, hoping to find the Burrowing Owl. I didn't find it anywhere along
the road but, to my surprise, I found it in the same burrow I last occupied
by an owl back in March 2004. I'm assuming the owl just relocated and there
aren't actually 2.

The burrow is best seen from the path along San Leandro Creek. From the SE
corner of the marsh, go north a couple hundred feet to a white distance
marker that says 18-80, then look straight west and scan the berm.

Eurasian Wigeon is still with the American Wigeon flock.
