Since I'm up and at the keyboard.
I noticed the last few days the arrival of two new Fox Sparrows in my yard for up to five.
Also different is the White throated Sparrow is now using the bird feeders.
To date the WTSparrow has been a consistent ground feeder.
Down town Pleasanton has several flocks of Cedar Waxwings with detail counts they appear to be growing in numbers.
Not a Pleasanton sighting, but I'd like to note was able to find my way down to Albuquerque to view the Yellow Grosbeak at 1243 Lomas Ave, Albuquerque, NM.
This Grosbeak has a huge head, wide shoulders , thick neck and its lower bill is grooved to hold sun flower seeds horizontally to split open conveniently.
    Everyone have a good day.
