[EBB Sightings] Allen's HB pair in Union City

I've seen a pair of Allen's hanging out in the riparian area on the west side of William Cann Memorial Park off Hop Ranch Rd/Dowe Ave south of Alvarado Niles Blvd. for the last week-and-a-half. I got one blurry image of the female on Mon. They're very skittish, but their call is heard fairly often as you search for them west of the footpath along the north half of the "hollow". Last week I climbed down the bank from the "backboard" along the bank & got several minutes view of the male feeding. BTW - I witnessed him hovering at flowers & picking insects off the undergrowth. My Nat'l Geographic guide & Cornell's web site say Allen's do eat insects. (re: a question in a previous EBB post.)
