[EBB Sightings] Wild Turkeys at Lafayette Reservoir

Up on the Rim Trail on Sunday, there were 3 very large and beautiful wild turkeys grazing in the grassy area at the Lafayette Reservoir.  One of them was raking the ground in search of food.  The feathers were gorgeous shades of bronze and green.  
   
  Northern flickers and a red-shouldered hawk were also observed in the highlands and down below in the reservoir were male and female buffleheads, double crested cormorants, Am. coots and killdeer.
