[EBB Sightings] West Contra Costa Ducks

Birders:

This afternoon, between 2 and 4 pm, the four female and two male Common 
Mergansers that Alan Kaplan reported on Friday were still present on 
Jewel Lake in Tilden Regional Park.  A pair of Buffleheads kept them 
company.

And at Miller-Knox Regional Shoreline in Pt. Richmond, the male 
Eurasian Wigeon that Laura Look reported this morning was still 
present.  With about 75 American Wigeon, the bird loafed on the lagoon 
and grazed on the grass between the lagoon and the bay.  Also present 
were tens of Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead, and Ruddy Ducks, as well as 
several Mallard-like creatures.
