[EBB Sightings] Lake Merritt - Ross's Goose etc.

Today I took my ornithology class on our annual February outing to Lake
Merritt in Oakland.  We added three new species to our cumulative list for
this trip: ROSS'S GOOSE, NORTHERN HARRIER, and BEWICK'S WREN.  

The Ross's Goose was on the lawn just east of the Rotary Natural Sciences
Center; the Northern Harrier was a very high flying migrant over the Sail
Boat Pavilion, and the Bewick's Wren was singing high in a redwood (?) near
the Bocce Ball courts.
