[EBB Sightings] lesser goldfinches

i've had lesser goldfinches at my niger feeders off and on all  
winter, every day during February, mixing with the large flock of  
american goldfinches (20 to 50 birds) that hangs out at my feeders  
all winter. They eat about half a large feeder of thistle seeds every  
day during the winter. I'm still learning to tell the female  
americans and lessers apart, so I can only say for sure that lessers  
are around when they are males.

This is in Fremont, near the Washington/Driscoll intersection where  
the 2 yellow-billed magpies have lived this winter.
