[EBB Sightings] Bushtit Observation

   A few days back a Bushtit nest appeared in a Passion Flower vine clinging 
to the side of our house.   The books indicate that egg laying occurs from 
April to July, so this nest seemed a bit premature.
The only reference that I could find as to how early these birds can start a 
nest is in the web site listed below.  It seems that, due to the "thermos 
bottle" nature of their nests, they can start a nest as early as January.  
This is just an observation - this site is not appropriate to start a chat
