    Subject: Dead Alcid

    =20

Today at the Berkeley Marina, just after the locked gate to the =93O=94 =
    dock on
the left hand side, was a dead bird that I think was a common Murre. =
    The
bird was in good shape, just dead and floating in a bunch of storm =
    debris.
I=92ll probably go back Monday with my book to see if I can make a =
    better
identification. None-the-less, I thought it worth mentioning because it =
    is
not often this type of bird is visible at close range.
