Hi Birders,
During a brief stop at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park in Pleasanton yesterday
afternoon (Sat. 1/7), I spotted a COMMON LOON (there were two there last winter)
and a HORNED GREBE (there are good numbers of Eared Grebes, but Horned is
uncommon). Both birds were seen on the main lake near the swim beach.
