Between 4:30 and 5 PM this afternoon, at low tide, I observed about 5 =
Black Oystercatchers foraging for shellfish (and possibly other =
invertebrates) on the rocky substrate, in the intertidal zone south of =
the intersection of Central Avenue and Isabel Street near Point Isabel =
Regional Shoreline in Richmond, Contra Costa County. Earlier this week, =
I heard an Oystercatcher piping at or near the same site in the late =
    afternoon.

    Good birding,
    Stan
