        There is what I think must be a ruddy shelduck in the first seasonal pond on the right after you pass the Seabreeze Restaurant at University and Frontage Rd. It looked enough like the one in big Sibley to go online and find a dead ringer picture of the individual at:
       
      http://www.kamileron.com/okk/angiteng.htm. It states there that it's very easy to breed this species.
       
      In the same area, there were two red phalaropes, several gadwall, wigeons, pintails, and a LOT of mallards, a domestic white duck, 13 Canada geese, and more, including western meadowlarks acting like peeps.
