    Tom,
    In the third week of November, I saw Pygmy Nuthatches in a group of 
    Monterey Pines and cypresses on the Dunn Trail, just north of the old Park 
    Headquarters on Skyline Blvd., where people park along the road to access 
    the trail.  I have not seen them there recently, but it might be worth 
    checking that spot if it's in your area.
