    The Tufted Duck remains in the NE arm of the lake, next to a raft of scaup.  He was between the shore and the raft, about 25' out today, sleeping.  His tuft seems wispy, almost like hair rather than feathers.  There was a breeze today, and the tuft was in complete disarray.
       
      I could not find the Northern Waterthrush, but another birder thought he heard it on the island nearest the Nature Center.
       
      While searching for the hybrid duck near the inlet, a mature Snow Goose flew from behind the Convention Center, then vanished to the east.
