Seen yesterday - Sunday, Nov. 20 '05 - at Marsh Creek Reservoir (Friends of
    Marsh Creek hike):
     10 white pelicans
     approx. 20 (short-billed?) dowitchers
     one bufflehead
    and heard a Sora Rail
(this was not a birding trip, so just saw these 'in passing'...)
(I hope Brentwood can start a Audubon group sometime!)

Also - the GPS coordinates for the Monument on Marsh Creek Rd at the
    Reservoir are:
    LatLon: 37degrees53min17sec (N); 121degrees43sec18min (W)
    UTM: (zone10 of course) 612407E 4194179N
Elevation change : approx. 50 ft. drop from road to riverbed along
    reservoir.
