[EBB Sightings] Missed the Hybrid

I wandered down to Lake Merritt around noon today, in hopes of seeing 
the Goldeneye/Merganser cross. He wasn't in sight, but there were lots 
and lots of Buffleheads and Scaup, a fair number of Barrows Goldeneyes, 
assorted grebes and Ruddy Ducks, and the first of the Canvasbacks.

Next scheduled GGAS walk is November 23 - the day before T'giving - with 
the winter inflow in full swing.... Meet at 9:30 between the nature 
center and the lake.
