Yesterday around 8:45 am I spotted a juvenile plumaged Pectoral Sandpiper quite close to the "Chinese Bridge". Many other shorebirds also seen around here and the pond:
Stilts, Avocets, Godwits, Willets, Semi-p Plovers, Killdeer, Dunlins, Western and Least Sandpiper as well as 1 American Pipit (alticola), a Belted Kingfisher and various other common species.

Another brief visit about 3:30, we spotted 3 immature Greater White-fronted Geese along with many Canada Geese at a high tide Ahlambra Creek estuary near above mentioned bridge. Save for a few Avocets all the waders were away roosting somewhere.
