This morning (Fri, Oct 28), we saw a late male WILSON'S WARBLER at San
Pablo Bay Regional Shoreline at the end of Pinole Shores Drive in Pinole.

Other good birds included Red-shouldered Hawk, Hutton's Vireo, and
Townsend's Warbler. The place was crawling with Ruby-crowned Kinglets
(providing a nice comparison with the vireo). There must have been a
really good crop of kinglets this year. ;-)

San Pablo Bay is ominously dead -- no ducks or grebes in sight. There were
a few Forster's Terns, but they appeared to just be passing through. I am
concerned that the problems they have been having in the Delta are
affecting the fish in the Bay.

On a more cheerful note, the White-throated Sparrow continues to visit our
    feeder.

    Good birding,
